Data privacy is of high importance to Millennium Printing and Stationery Ltd and we want to be open and transparent with our processing of your personal data. We therefore have this policy, which sets out how your personal data will be processed and protected by us.
What we need
Millennium Printing and Stationery Ltd will be what is known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. Unless otherwise agreed with you, we will only collect basic personal data about you, which does not include any special categories of personal information about you, know as sensitive personal data. This however does include, for example, your name, work address, email address and job title.
Why we need it
We need to know basic personal data in order to provide you with the sale and supply service you have engaged us to provide, and to assert our right to be recompensed in return for these supplies, as per the supply/service agreement or contract we have with you. If you do not provide this information then we will be unable to provide the service/supplies you have requested. We will not collect any personal data with you that we do not need.
What do we do with it
All the data we hold will be processed by our employees in the UK and no third parties will have access to your data unless there is a legal obligation to do so. We do provide third party suppliers with postcodes and contact numbers for the purpose of delivery only, which are then stored on a Cloud based ordering system. We take all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data is processed and stored securely.
How long we keep it
We generally will keep your personal data for a minimum of 6 years, after which time it will be destroyed if we no longer need it for any lawful purpose(s) in line with why it was obtained. If you consent to marketing, any information we use for this purpose will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish for us to contact you or receive any further information.
What we would also like to do with it
We would like to send you information about our products and services, by post, telephone and email. Please note that if you consent to being sent our marketing information via email then your data will not be shared with any third party organisation for marketing purposes.
What your rights are
Right to access – You have the right to request information about the personal data we hold on you at any time. You can contact Lee Fletcher and we will provide you with your personal data via email.
Right to portability – Whenever we process your data based on your contract/our agreement with you, you have the right to get a copy of the personal data we transfer to either you or a third party. This only includes the personal data you have submitted to us.
Right to rectification – you have the right to request rectification of any personal data we hold if it is incorrect or incomplete.
Right to erasure – You have the right to erase any personal data held or processed by us at any time except for the following situations:
• You have an ongoing matter with customer service
• You have an open order not yet completed
• You have an unsettled debt with Millennium Printing and Stationery Ltd
• If you are suspected of or have misused our services within the last 4 years
• Your debt has been sold to a third party within the last three years or one year for deceased customers
• If you have made any purchases, we will keep your personal data in connection to your transaction for book keeping purposes
Right to object direct marketing – You have the right to object to direct marketing. You can opt out of our marketing by the following means:
